Establishment of the WA PWr Sound and Space Laboratory

We are starting a new project at our Faculty, titled “Establishment of the WA PWr Sound and Space Laboratory” with the participation of experts from W2, W9, W12 and W14, along with the implementation of a pilot research and implementation task. 

This work aims to enhance the quality of public buildings’ architecture and adapt it to the current and future challenges that the built environment faces. The team’s research will adopt an interdisciplinary approach to developing innovative and applied solutions in the areas of architecture, urban planning, construction, acoustics, psychology, and technology, with a focus on understanding the needs, perceptions, and experiences of the user. 

The newly established team includes: from W1: PhD, DSc, Eng, Arch. Joanna Jabłońska, university professor, PhD, DSc, Eng, Arch. Łukasz Wojciechowski, university professor, PhD, Eng, Arch. Agnieszka Dobrzyńska-Jarosz, PhD, Eng Michał Pelczarski, PhD, Eng, Arch. Joanna Gronostajska-Kadecka, MSc, Eng arch. Olga Sztyrak, PhD student, MSc. Eng. Arch. Jagoda Sabaj, PhD student, MSc. Eng. Arch. Ahmad Abbara, PhD student, from W2: PhD, Eng Sławomir Czarnecki, from W9: PhD, DSc, Eng Paweł Regucki, university prof., from W12: PhD, Eng Aleksandra Klimek, PhD, Eng Maurycy Kin, W12, from W14: prof. PhD, DSc, Eng. Małgorzata Wierzbicka, specialist in otolaryngology. 

The project assumes cooperation with students, companies, and international specialists, including the #Unite! Network.
