Thanks to the support of the Vice-Rector for Cooperation, prof. dr hab. Eng. Dariusz Łydżba and professor Jerzy Detyna from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, representatives of the Faculty of Architecture (FA), on behalf of the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology (WUST), had the opportunity to strengthen their cooperation with the “Former Mine” Science and Art Centre Park in Wałbrzych. Besides the Vice-Rector, a framework cooperation agreement was signed by Jan Jędrasik, Director of Former Mine” Science and Art Centre Park and the Dean of FA WUST professor Barbara Gronostajska. Stara Kopalna is a group of post-industrial monuments and tourist attractions unique in Poland, offering a rich source of knowledge and experience. The exploration and promotion of these values ​​is the goal of both parties. This opens the field for joined cooperation in science, research, design and education. As part of the joint activity, it is planned, inter alia, conducting student and doctoral work based on topics related to the development of PWSK, implementation of internships, joint symposia and conferences. The partners will make efforts to attract the interest of the regional community to the results of the cooperation.
