Last week, from 16 to 19 September, three researchers from the Chair of Urbanism and Spatial Management, Łukasz Damurski, Agnieszka Szumilas and Kasia Piskorek, participated in the consortium meeting of the #PEDJUST project in Aalborg, Denmark.

The visit proved to be highly inspiring — Aalborg itself turned out to be a fascinating city, an interesting case study, and the discussions during the meeting were both intense and fruitful. Together with project partners – Politecnico di Bari (Italy) and Aalborg Universitet (Denmark), we explored how urban regeneration programmes can contribute to just energy transitions.

The next consortium meeting will take place in one year — this time in Wrocław. We look forward to continuing our collaboration within the PED-JUST consortium!
