• As a type of individual activity, diploma theses may be carried out stationary, with the consent of the supervisor and the dean, in compliance with safety rules.
• Defenses of diploma theses, exams and course completion assessments can be carried out both remotely and stationary - the current epidemic situation will be the key argument.

In making this difficult decision, I was primarily guided by concern for the health of the staff, students and doctoral students of the university. It was also influenced by the numerous voices of students, whom I did not want to leave in a situation where the time of suspension is extended every few days or weeks and there is uncertainty as to the possibility of carrying them out on a full-time basis.

I hope that the situation will stabilise for all of us, while asking for caution and prudence - with a sense of responsibility for ourselves, our colleagues and those close to us.
